Biography

Carl Agren serves as Chief Operating Officer of NIP Group's Digital Computing Division and Board Member, bringing over two decades of leadership in cryptocurrency mining and data center operations.

Most recently, Carl served as CEO of Phoenix Technology, where he led the company through its landmark $370 million IPO on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange in December 2023. Under his leadership, Phoenix operated approximately 400 MW of cryptocurrency mining capacity across global facilities.

Prior to Phoenix, Carl co-founded and served as COO of G42 Cloud (now Core42), developing data center capacity for AI and high-performance computing in the Middle East.

Carl holds degrees from the University of Idaho and University of Phoenix.
